Nikhil Chinapa is an MTV India presenter, music entrepreneur and Co-Creator of Sunburn and Vh1Supersonic festivals.

He owns a music company called Submerge Music, which is known for bringing the most well known DJ’s to India such as Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Tiesto etc.

He has been associated with MTV India since the late 1990s and has appeared in multiple T.V. shows including Splitsvilla and Roadies.

Nikhil was born on 6 June 1943 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. His father was a Paratrooper in the Indian army. As far as Nikhil’s early education is concerned, he changed his school several times.

Including Hyderabad and Faust High School, Begumpet’s Hyderabad Public School, Secunderabad, after which he studied in St. George High School Agra.

His interest in music during his college life when he used to do FreeLancing gigs as a DJ in parties to earn his pocket money.

Nikhil gradually achieved his success and started growing and with hard work and morale became India’s No.1 DJ.

In 2012, Nikhil married his long time girlfriend after a six-year-long relationship. she is also a DJ named DJ Pearl Miglani. They have One Daughter.

He has a massive fan following on Twitter among EDM (Electronic Dance Music) lovers, and he is credited as one of the best Pioneer for EDM in India.

Later He Hosted very famous TV Show MTV Splitsvilla season 2,4,5 and Co-Hosted MTV Splitsvilla’s season 3 with Dipti Gujral and Season 6 with Sherlyn Chopra and Season 7 with Very Popular Actress and Model Sunny Leone.

He also judged shows like Rock On, MTV Mashups, Fame X and seasons 4, 5 and 7 of MTV Roadies.

But, this brave man is suffering from thyroid which has resulted in the swelling of muscles around his eyes.
